Tennis: North Hall girls drop heartbreaker to Blessed Trinity

The North Hall girls lost their first match of the season in heart-breaking fashion, 3-2 to Blessed Trinity.

The Lady Trojans (2-1) got wins at No. 3 singles with Christen Barnes swatting Olivia Bryant  6-2, 6-1 and at No. 1 doubles when team of Sydney Patterson /Raqeul Kallab rallied from a set down to beat Katie Collar/Claire Millsaps 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 .

Anna Montgomery at No. 1 singles fell to Maddy Schott 6-1, 6-0 and Lauren Davis at No. 2 lost to Camille Steyaert 6-1, 6-1.

The No. 2 team of Carsen Baumgardner/Raquel Kallab could not hold a one-set lead before losing to Faith Dunn/Anna Mudry.

The Lady Trojans (2-1) next will travel to Flowery Branch next Wednesday.
