Mother Nature has already thrown the red flag on the start of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series 2017 season.
Wet weather in the Daytona Beach area has postponed the running of Saturday night's non-points Advance Auto Parts Clash at Daytona International Speedway to Sunday morning at 11:30 am.
Rain had threatened in the area for several hours prior to the race, with a larger band of showers finally arriving during pre-race ceremonies for the event.
NASCAR deployed the Air Titan track drying system in an attempt to dry the track, but persistent showers continued to move through, leading race officials to move the running of the race to Sunday.
Brad Keselowski will lead the field to green on Sunday. Keselowski got the pole for the race on a blind draw on Friday.
Defending race winner Denny Hamlin will roll from outside of the front row, with Jamie McMurray third, Austin Dillon fourth and Martin Truex, Jr. fifth.
Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Alex Bowman, Joey Logano and Kurt Busch round out the top ten starters.
WDUN will have live MRN Radio coverage of the event, with WDUN 102.9 FM joining the broadcast at noon.
