The Flowery Branch boys tennis team nipped Oconee County 3-2 on Wednesday.
Flowery Branch swept the singles to get the victory. Drayton Matus won at No. 1 singles 7-6, 6-2, Tucker Smallwood won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2 singles, and Gunnar Hetzel took a 6-3, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles.
Brody Millwood and John Hollis lost at No. 1 doubles and Nate Shedd and Brady McVey lost at No. 2 doubles.
Flowery Branch improved to 2-1 on the season.
