HELEN — Visitors to Helen will not have direct access to the Helen Welcome Center Feb. 21-27.
That's because the facility will be undergoing updates to the inside of the building, including replacement of the floor in the front lobby and public restroom updates.
While staff will report to answer phones from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, public access to the welcome center will not be available.
Anyone who needs to meet with a member of the welcome center staff can call (706) 878-2181 or email [email protected] to make arrangements.
The facility will reopen to the public on Feb. 28.
Helen officials say the Helen Welcome Center will be closed to the public Feb. 21-27 for facility upgrades.
