Gainesville police say two suspects escaped on foot after an armed robbery at a hotel Sunday evening.
Gainesville Police Sergeant Kevin Holbrook said two black male suspects, one in a white jacket and the other in a blue jacket, entered the Country Hearth Inn and Suites on Jesse Jewel Parkway just after 7:00 where they confronted a person and took unknown items.
Holbrook said the two produced a firearm during the robbery and fled on foot. He said the Gainesville Police Department is investigating and searching the area using on-foot officers and K9 units.
No arrests have been made in the case.
