GAINESVILLE — The Lakeview Academy girls closed out their regular season with an 81-35 thumping of Providence Christian Friday night.
The win also sealed the No. 1 seed from Region 8-A in the upcoming region tournament.
The Lady Lions (21-4, 13-0 Region 8-A) were led by Hanna Grogan with 18 points. Ryan Moody added 13 points and Jackie Allen had 12 points for Lakeview Academy.
Lakeview Academy will back in action Tuesday in the first round of the Region 8-A Tournament. Lakeview Academy will be hosting the tournament.
