The suspect who allegedly fled a traffic stop on Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville Jan. 24 is now in custody, officials confirmed Friday.

Michael Ron Hoosline, 39, of Cartersville was arrested Wednesday on Norell Road in Hall County, charged with trafficking methamphetamine and obstruction of an officer, among other charges, according to Hall County Jail records.

He's accused of fleeing a traffic stop near Mountainview Road shortly before 5 p.m., prompting a brief search by local authorities.

A female passenger, identified Friday as Caroline Maria Sexton, was arrested at the scene when authorities found 86 grams of meth in Hoosline's Honda Accord.

Hoosline is also charged with possession of a drug object, possession of methamphetamine, open container, possession of marijuana, suspended license and a window tinting violation.

Sexton faces the same list of charges, according to the Georgia State Patrol, except for the window tinting and suspended license charges.
