HOMER — The Banks County girls knocked off Habersham Central 60-41 to advance to the finals of the Banks County Christmas Tournament.
The Lady Lepards (9-3) will take on Class AAAAAAA North Gwinnett on Friday in the championship game.
Jaycie Bowen just missed on a double-double pouring in 14 points to go with 9 rebounds to lead Banks County. Allison Smith had 17 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead Banks County in scoring. Maddie Thomas added 13 points and Amber Williams chipped in with 6 points and 9 rebounds for the Lady Leopards.
