Plans for a medical office on the north side of town and a boat sales dealership on the west side go before the Gainesville Planning and Appeals Commission shortly after the first of the year.

The medical facility would be located at Park Hill Drive and South Enota. Altus Development, LLC, is asking that just over one acre be rezoned to accommodate the structure, which will consist of almost 11,000 square feet.

The boat dealership is slated for a nearly three-acre site on McEver Road at Hillside Gardens Lane, now occupied by a 12,000 square foot building, which is home to several businesses. Tyler Land Holdings is the applicant in this case and plans to renovate the existing building and use it for the boat dealership.

The planning board meets at 5:15 on January 16 at the Gainesville Justice Center.
