The Georgia State Patrol has released more information about a three-vehicle collision that involved a Gainesville school bus on McEver Road at Vineyard Way Thursday afternoon.

According to a media release from troopers, a minivan driver, Soleil Nyasamaza, 23, of Gainesville, was turning from Vineyard Way onto McEver.  Authorities said her van clipped an SUV driven by Johnny Martinez, 22, of Gainesville.  The van then went head-on into an oncoming school bus.

Nyasamaza's passenger, Johnson Mukuku, 34, of Gainesville, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

One student on the bus complained of an injury but was treated at the scene, according to the state patrol.

Nyasamaza was cited for failure to yield.
