Closing arguments are expected Monday in the Dawson County trial of a citizen journalist accused of felony obstruction of an officer and two misdemeanor charges.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that testimony in the trial of Nydia Tisdale wrapped up Friday.

The charges stem from a 2014 incident during a GOP rally at Burt's Pumpkin Farm.  Tisdale, who had been video recording speakers, was removed from the event by former Dawson County Sheriff's Captain Tony Wooten.

Tisdale said Wooten didn't identify himself to her before physically removing her from the rally, according to the paper.
The AJC reported Wooten testified that he did.

According to the report, Tisdale testified that the ordeal left her with deep bruises on her body.  Wooten said Tisdale struck him and broke his phone.

The trial included testimony from several high profile state officials who were present at the event.  While Governor Nathan Deal, who attended the rally, had been subpoenaed, the judge quashed it, according to the AJC.
