An Atlanta man convicted of robbing Walmart stores and gas stations in several counties in Georgia, including in Gwinnett and Forsyth, in 2015 has been sentenced to 32 years in prison.

Deanthony Foster robbed at least six Walmarts. The U.S. Justice Department said Foster would surveil the stores beforehand, then during the robberies point a gun at the clerks and demand money.

Foster pleaded guilty to the charges. In addition to his 32 year prison sentence, he will pay $25,000 in restitution.

The last location Foster hit was the Walmart on Peachtree Parkway in Cumming. In that robbery, investigators said Foster actually fired the gun into the floor.
