Kommerina Daling, M.D., a family physician with Longstreet Clinic Family Medicine in Oakwood, was recently selected as Emory’s “Preceptor of the Year” for the 2016-2017 academic year. The honor was given to Daling on behalf of the directors of the Adult Primary Care Clerkship and the students at the Emory University School of Medicine.
According to Emory’s Department of Family and Preventive Medicine and Undergraduate Medical Education, Daling was selected as the Preceptor of the Year because of “her continued support and hard work in educating” medical students at Emory University. Daling was praised for providing students with “support to feel comfortable all while encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones.”
Daling has practiced with Longstreet Clinic since 2013.
