Officials with Hall County Fire Services are investigating a house fire at a home on Kenimer Road in North Hall County.
Nobody was injured, according to Capt. Zach Brackett, though the home was showing "heavy smoke" when firefighters arrived on the scene to the 1,200 square-foot home.
Brackett said the two occupants of the house, a 55-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, were displaced as a result. The American Red Cross has been called to assist the two.
Brackett said the residence is a total loss; damage amount was estimated at $40,000.
The cause has not been determined.
