MONROE — The Lakeview Academy boys keep their huge showdown with Tallulah Falls in Region 8-A on Wednesday in tact after a dominating 79-41 road victory over George Walton Saturday afternoon.
The Lions (17-5, 12-0 Region 8-A) had five players score in double figures. Evan Pitts led the way with 17 points. Adam Cottrell and Tre Gober had 12 points each, Drew Cottrell chipped in with 11 points, and Josh Randolph added 10 points for Lakeview.
Lakeview next will take on Riverside Military Academy on Tuesday at home before entertaining Tallulah Falls on Wednesday in what will be a showdown for first place in the region.
