Public safety officials will be on hand at the Kroger on Freedom Parkway in Forsyth County Friday afternoon to help parents inspect and install child safety seats.
The event runs from 2 to 4 p.m. according to a post on the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
Certified technicians will be on hand to show parents how to properly install their child's car seat, and make sure that it's the proper fit.
The event is sponsored by the Sheriff's Office, Forsyth County Fire Department and Safe Kids Forsyth.
It is free and open to the public.
