GAINESVILLE — After providing Gainesville and Clemson University with lasting images through the years, Deshaun Watson is lending his image to Habit for Humanity of Hall County.

Watson's image will be part of the DW4Project.com, which aims to install a temporary, 1,300 square-foot tribute banner of the state and national championship-winning quarterback on the south side of the former Regions Bank Building on E.E. Butler Parkway in downtown Gainesville.

The project is looking to raise $4,900 for the banner. All donations will be tax deductible and will be received/processed by the North Georgia Community Foundation.

The foundation said Watson has been an incredible ambassador for Gainesville and that this was a way of saying thanks and recognizing his tremendous character and accomplishments. Additionally, any funds raised over the cost for the banner and installation will be redirected to Hall County Habitat for Humanity in his honor.

Watson's family was part of a Habitat home, and, in the video above, the championship-winning quarterback discusses how much that meant for him.
