LOGANVILLE — No. 2 Flowery Branch held Loganville to just nine first half points and then held off the Lady Red Devils 49-44 Friday in Region 8-AAAAA girls action.
The Lady Falcons (15-3, 7-1 Region 8-AAAAA) opened the game with a 14-0 first quarter and then led 30-9 at halftime. Loganville used a 15-9 third quarter to pull within 39-24 but could only get as close as the final.
Taniyah Worth led Flowery Branch with 13 points. Lexie Sengkhammee and Ashley Woodroffe had 10 points each for the Lady Falcons.
