The City of Gainesville's garbage pickup schedule will be altered next week because of the Marthin Luther King, Jr., holiday.
City officials say there will be no pickup on Monday. Monday's routes will be serviced Tuesday and Tuesday's on Wednesday. The regular schedule will resume on Thursday.
City offices will be closed on Monday.
Hall County offices will also be closed Monday. The county landfill and recycling center will also be closed but the trash compactor stations will be open.
