HOMER — Stephens County scored twice in the top of the eight inning to tale a 4-2 win over Banks County Monday in girls softball action.
Emma Whitfield was dominating for the Lady Indians (18-2) fanning 13 batters and allowing just three hits.
Alana Dunson scored the eventual game-winner for Stephens County on a passed ball.
The Lady Indians will close out their regular season on Tuesday traveling to Rabun County.
Banks County (7-11) will take on Elbert County on Tuesday in both teams final Region 8-AA game.
