The asphalt topping for State Route 75 alternate in White County that started earlier this week will continue throughout next week, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
A three stage surface treatment was placed earlier in August, and it will act as a crack sealing interlayer and will increase the lifespan of the asphalt.
Weather permitting, the eight mile section from U.S. 129 to State Route 75 should be completed by early October 2016.
