RABBITTOWN — Macy Banks tossed a complete-game, three-hitter while also driving in three runs to lead East hall to a 6-1 victory over Lumpkin County Tuesday in Region 7-AAA girls softball action.
Banks allowed just one run while also striking out three.
She got all the runs she would need as the Lady Vikings (12-8, 8-3 Region 7-AAA) scored three runs in the first inning to jump out to the quick lead. Steffanie Redmon andf Banks drove in runs on bases loaded walks sandwiched around an RBI single from Kaitlyn Daniel.
East Hall added two runs in the fifth to take a 5-0 lead. Lumpkin County's (9-12, 5-6) lone run came in the sixth on an RBI single by Ansley Holman.
Misty Goodman took the loss for the Lady Indians lasting less than a inning walking three.
The Lady Vikings next will play host to Chestatee on Wednesday. Lumpkin County will play host to Wwest Hall on Wednesday.
