Installation is complete on the columbarium, a space for cremated remains, after 18 months of preparations at Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville.
The structure is made of blue granite from Elberton, and includes a small garden area, according to a press release.
The space contains 112 niche spaces for cremated remains, said Tommy Casper, cemetery manager.
The columbarium is located near the mausoleum between 9th and 10th Avenue.
