A Lawrenceville man is $750,000 richer thanks to a scratch-off ticket he purchased in Suwanee.

John Brannon, 36, won the top prize in the Silver Peach scratcher Tuesday, according to a press release.

He purchased two tickets from the Exxon Food Mart on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, hitting the jackpot on the second instant ticket.

“I’m still in shock,” he said. “I don’t think the feeling has really hit me yet.”

Brannon says a portion of his winnings will be used to purchase a new home.
