BLAIRSVILLE — Cole Wright ran for two scores and threw for two others to lead Union County to a 45-20 win over Andrews (N.C.) Friday night at home.

Wright had touchdown throws of 26-yards to Bo Lynch and 8-yards to Austin Pattee to go with scoring runs of 1- and 71-yards, all in the first half. A 3-yard scoring run by Cole Dockery gave the Panthers (3-0) a 38-0 halftime lead. Brian Smith added a 29-yard field goal.

Jackson Colwell opened the second half with a 25-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown for Union County for a 45-0 lead.

Andrews scored on a fumble recovery of a bad punt snap by the Panthers and on a pair of 1-yard runs in the fourth quarter.

It is the third straight 3-0 start for Union County, which will travel to Banks County next week.
