WomenSource will hold its ninth annual Power of the Purse Fundraiser & Fashion Show Tuesday and will honor this year's Community Heroes at the same time.
It will be held the Chattahoochee Country Club.
In addition to honoring Community Heroes, Power of the Purse celebrates women’s philanthropy. According to a news release, funds raised from Power of the Purse assist WomenSource in its mission to encourage personal and professional success for women of all ages and backgrounds in northeast Georgia.

WomenSource, which was founded in 2008, will also be celebrating the hiring of its first executive director, Elizabeth Burnette.
