Gainesville police said Sunday human remains found in a vacant lot Friday are those of "an adult male."
Beyond that, according to spokesman Kevin Holbrook, there is nothing else new to report.
"We do not have much more to release at this time," Holbrook said by email. "We are awaiting autopsy results. Our hopes are that the autopsy results will shed more light on the case itself."
He added police still "do not have an ID on the victim."
