Two people — a 29-year-old woman and a 17-year-old — died from a head-on crash Friday morning in Banks County.
Harold Chambers, 17, of Commerce was headed east on Ga. 51 when his Ford Crown Victoria crossed the center line, hitting a Ford F-150 head-on driven by Dana Lefevre, 29, of Homer, according to an email from the Georgia State Patrol.
Lefevre died at the scene; Chambers died en route to the hospital.
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.
No other parties are believed to be involved.
