ATHENS — The East Hall volleyball team remained unbeaten after sweeping a pair of matches Thursday on the road.
The Lady Vikings (4-0) beat Athens Christian 25-17, 25-12 and then knocked off Madison County 25-16, 25-16 in two non-region matches.
Savannah Thellman had 14 points on serve with seven aces with 10 digs and 31 assists to lead East Hall. Tessa Rider scored 19 points on serve with four aces, five kills and 13 digs and Minette Maldonado scored 12 points on serve with 14 kills and 12 digs for the Lady Vikings.
Holly Poole had 10 kills and 1 dig, Summer Lindsey had three assists and 32 digs, Niyah Rucker scored 5 points on serve with two aces and 17 kills, Araianna Hernandez added seven points on serve with two aces and 7 digs, and Macy Thomas added 1 kill for East Hall.
