Ga. 316 was shutdown in both directions at Ga. 11 due to an injury crash involving a tractor trailer for about four hours Monday afternoon.
According to a post on the Barrow County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the injuries to those involved are considered minor, though dispatchers said several patients were transported to local hospitals.
Crews had to shut the roadway down because of oil and diesel fuel leaks.
It reopened around 4:15 p.m.
