City of Gainesville work crews have been doing some storm clean-up on a piece of land across from the Gainesville High School rock on Pearl Nix Parkway.
"The small section of Wilshire Park is a 'cleanup' of past storm and ice damage," Parks and Recreation Director Melvin Cooper said in an email via City Hall spokeswoman Catiel Felts. "We will be landscaping and planting some trees back in the area."
Work began on the project a few weeks ago and is still ongoing.
