Georgia Mountain Food Bank held its second annual Partner Agency Conference at the Boomershine Family Logistics Center in Gainesville Friday.

Participants from more than 21 of the 63 GMFB partner agencies and representing all five of the counties that GMFB serves, spent the day collaborating, sharing and learning from one another in an effort to collectively improve the regions approach to food distribution.

This year’s theme was “What are the tools in your tool box?” and topics will included benefits screening, volunteer recruitment and retention and pantry efficiencies.
