Posted 12:27PM on Monday 11th July 2016 ( 8 years ago )

Two brothers are in the Hall County jail Monday after they allegedly pointed a gun at a woman in her vehicle.

Blake Edward Schulte and Tyler Schulte, of Buford, both face a felony count each of aggravated assault.

Sgt. Kevin Holbrook with Gainesville Police said the victim had finished closing a business for the night early Monday morning on Limestone Parkway and was in her vehicle when one of the two men flagged her down and asked her for directions.

"Immediately upon asking her for directions, this individual brandished a firearm, a handgun," said Holbrook. "She quickly realized that something was wrong. She immediately gassed the car and left the scene as quickly as she could."

Holbrook said the woman was not injured and contacted police following the incident.

"We don't know exactly what the intentions were, however, these individuals produced a weapon, so it's believed the intentions were to rob [the victim]," Holbrook said.

The two are currently being held in the Hall County Jail.
