An Oakwood man was arrested Friday after he allegedly trespassed into his mother's house and refused to leave.

According to a release from the Hall County Sheriff's Office, 36-year-old Nathan Elliot Stainback went to the home on Raintree Trace in Oakwood and was asked to leave but refused. Authorities later came to the house and arrested Stainback without incident. Police say they also found a small amount of synthetic marijuana with him.

Stainback faces charges of Criminal Trespassing and Possession of Synthetic Marijuana. After the arrest, officials say a Superior Court Probation Warrant was also issued for Stainback.
