Don Carter State Park will be the scene of a benefit triathlete event Saturday.
The G-ville Rookie Splash Dash & Super Sprint Tri will benefit Team Green, an organization devoted to increasing organ transplant awareness. It is open to anyone, from rookie triathletes to seasoned participates and will involve running, swimming and biking. However, organizers say participants can enter all of the events or just one or two.
It begins at 7:30 Saturday morning.
