The Georgia Motorcycle Safety Program, a part of the Georgia Department of Driver Services, is offering Mobile Motorcycle License Testing (RST) at the “Back the Badge Bike Rodeo” in Gainesville next week.
The event will be held at Laurel Park July 9 from 10:00-2:00.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with community safety partners, Gainesville Police Department, Georgia Department of Driver Services, Safe Kids Gainesville-Hall County, and Hall County Fire Services for this event with proceeds to benefit the Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Homes.
The RST program gives Georgia motorcycle permit holders the opportunity to obtain their Georgia Class M (motorcycle) license. If the rider successfully passes the skills evaluation, they receive a 90-day license waiver to bring to their nearest DDS Customer Service Center to acquire their motorcycle license.
