Two suspects are in jail in Gwinnett County, charged with entering and stealing from dozens of automobiles in the city of Suwanee.

The city identified one of the suspects on its Facebook page as 19-year-old Timothy Gerald Farrell. The other suspect is a 16-year-old juvenile.

The Gwinnett Daily Post reported the two allegedly entered and took property from about 60 vehicles in total — 20 each in three separate neighborhoods. The thefts started a week ago and continued through Monday. Over the weekend, authorities released surveillance video of one of the thefts. A citizen recognized Farrell and contacted police, according to the newspaper report.

Police said their investigation determined all the vehicles had been left unlocked.
