A manufacturing company has announced that it will move its production from Hanover, Pa. to Flowery Branch.

SKF USA Inc., which manufactures bearings, seals, mechatronics and lubrication systems, announced Thursday that it will consolidate its manufacturing facilities in the U.S., closing sites in San Diego and Baltimore and giving a boost to its facility in Flowery Branch.

The company plans to move the production of its roller bearings — both large and small — into the South Hall plant, according to a news release.

The company will also upgrade the machinery and manufacturing processes at the plant.

The consolidation is expected to take between 18 and 24 months.
