The 2016 Jeffrey Gay Memorial Golf Classic raised a record breaking $40,904 for the Medical Association of Georgia Foundation ‘Think About It’ campaign to reduce prescription drug abuse and the We Care Foundation, which helps needy children in the Gainesville area.

The fourth annual golf tournament was held at the Apple Mountain Golf Course in Clarkesville on May 14.

It is a yearly memorial tribute to Jeffrey Gay – the grandson of the MAG Foundation ‘Think About It’ campaign Community co-Chair Dallas Gay – who lost his life to prescription drug abuse in 2012.
