Baseball: Region 8-AAAA All-Region team announced

Buford and North Hall were well-represented on the Region 8-AAAA All-Region baseball team, which was released Wednesday by region coaches.

The Wolves also garnered the Player of the Year with senior outfielder Brandon Marsh, who hit an astounding .559 on the season, and Pitcher of the Year with senior and University of Georgia-signee Justin Glover, who went a perfect 10-0 on the season. Both players helped lead the Wolves to the Class AAAA championship series before falling to Locust Grove in three games.

Long-time Madison County coach Charlie Griffeth was named Coach of the Year.
