EASTABOGA, Ala. - Jason Hiett scored his first career Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series victory Saturday night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala.
Hiett dominated from the drop of the green flag to score the $4,000 win.
In the 40 lap main, Hiett and Riley Hickman brought the field to green, with Hiett moving to the lead and driving away to the victory.
“We have tried awful hard to win a Southern All Star race,” said Hiett. “We have led a few of them over the years, but have never got here in victory lane. It feels great.”
Hickman came home in second place, with Cory Hedgecock in third, Dale McDowell in fourth and Jake Knowles in fifth.
Tim Roszellm, William Thomas, Dylan Ames, Todd Morrow Joseph Joiner rounded out the top ten.
The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series returns to action on May 7 at Thunderhill Raceway in Summertown, Tennessee.
