Several cities across the country have begun experimenting with the idea of the 4-day work-week, where daily shifts are extended by an hour or two in exchange for employees getting a 3-day weekend.
The city of Grantville, located just south of Atlanta, recently joined the movement after testing out the idea during a trial period. Grantville City Manager Al Greishaber joined the Afternoon News Wrap this week to discuss the idea from the perspective of both employer and employee.
