ELBERTON — Jefferson completed a three-game sweep of Elbert County Thursday taking a pair of 2-1 victories to close out the regular season and capture the Region 8-AAA title outright.
Asher Standridge got the win in the first game with Patrick Hickox getting the save. In the second game, Joshua Hutch earned the win with Brooks Beddow getting the save.
The Dragons will play host to first round playoff series next friday against ayet to be determined opponent.
