Girls soccer: Lady Wolves too much for Lumpkin County

DAHLONEGA — The Buford girls soccer team played its way to a 5-1 win at Lumpkin County on Tuesday in Dahlonega.

Ambria Shutts and Maria Maggio each provided one goal and one assist to help lead the Lady Wolves (12-2). Elexa Bahr, Brie Smith and Kristen Edmond also scored once each, while Morgan Smith added an assist.

Buford hosts Madison County at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the Lady Wolves' final region game of the season.
