Gainesville Police are searching for suspects who broke into and stole from a Toys for Tots storage facility in Gainesville on Saturday.
The thieves likely entered through an unlocked door at the facility sometime in the 7:00 hour that night, according to Sgt. Kevin Holbrook, public information officer, though he said investigators are still determining the exact nature of how they got inside.
"It's unclear exactly what they took because this is a storage facility," said Holbrook in a phone interview. "We are currently working with the Marine Corps (which operates the charity) to locate these individuals, to determine what was taken and prevent any more of these types of occurrences."
The crime was reported Saturday.
The Toys for Tots facility is located on Atlanta Highway.
