RABBITTOWN — Class AAA No. 2 ranked East Hall had all it could handle from Lumpkin County before escaping with a 4-3 victory at East Hall Stadium Friday night in Region 7-AAA boys action.
Leo Toledo recorded a hat trick to lead the Vikings (14-1, 4-0 Region 7-AAA). Carlos Castrejon scored had one goal and Sergio Turcios two assists for East Hall.
Johan Rodriguez had 3 saves in goal for East Hall.
In the girls game, No. 6 Lumpkin County tool a 4-0 win over the Lady Vikings to remain in first place in 7-AAA.
Despite allowing four goals, Maryana Hernandez played well in goal registering 17 saves in goal for the Lady Vikings.
Both East Hall teams will travel to Jackson County on April 12.
