The Georgia Department of Transportation is advising motorists that a single lane closure on the Dawsonville Highway will take place this weekend as part of an ongoing bridge repair project.
The work is scheduled to continue from Friday night through 5:00 Monday morning. Workers will be painting the bridge during that time.
This is part of a project also includes the installation of cover plates, spall repair, installation of new bridge joints, application of a new wearing surface, and repair/replacement of bearing assemblies.
