Good attendance means an 'arty' experience for some Gainesville students

In collaboration with the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, the Quinlan Visual Arts Center, as part of the Partners in Education (PIE) program, is offering an incentive-based field trip to the class from each of the city's elementary schools with the best first semester attendance.

The classes will receive an “Arty Attendance Party” that will feature the Quinlan's artist team and art projects.

Students will be instructed by a group of Quinlan teachers and complete one finished project each. Students will also be given a guided tour of the 13th Annual Youth Art Month Exhibition on view in the galleries.

The parties are scheduled starting Friday for the following dates and times:

v  Enota Elementary:  March 28, 2016, 10AM-12PM

v  Fair Street Elementary:  March 29, 2016, 10AM-12PM

v  Gainesville Elementary:  March 30, 2016, 10AM-12PM 

v  New Holland Elementary: March 31, 2016,10AM-12PM

v  Centennial Elementary:   March 25, 2016, 10AM-12PM
