A wreck on Athens Highway near Gaines Mill Road Sunday afternoon sent one person to the hospital.
Nicole Bales, a spokeswoman for the Hall County Sheriff's Office, said one lane of Athens Highway was closed for a time because of the two-vehicle crash.

The wreck involved a pickup truck and a passenger car, according to the Georgia State Patrol. Patrol officials Monday described the injuries in the crash as minor.
