Baseball: Wolves split in Perfect Game tourney

CARTERSVILLE — Senior Justin Glover pitched six scoreless innings to lead Buford to a 3-0 victory over Ballard, (Ky.) Thursday in the Perfect Game Tournament.

Austin Wilhite pitched a scoereless seventh inning to close out the game for the save for the Wolves. Griffin Jolliff had a two-RBI double for Buford.

In the second game, the Wolves fall to Sparkman, (Ala.), 8-1.

Buford (4-2) will take on Montverde Academy (Fla.) at 3:35 p.m. Friday in the third game of the tournament.
